I visited Longwood Gardens last spring during the peak bloom of the lilies. Standing in the middle of a sea of beautiful flowers I was reminded of this verse. I love this section of scripture. Every time I read it I am reminded that God not only knows my needs, but will meet them. I hope that you are blessed by this verse and image. It is one of my favorites.

This just blows my mind. To think that God not only made the stars, but he gave them a name. It just makes me think of how much He loves me too.

I am working through The Armor of God Bible Study by Priscilla Shirer. It is a really great study on the armor of God and the battle that rages around us. It teaches how to run defense against the enemy and how to take back ground that has been lost or surrendered. This study is changing so much about what I know about spiritual warfare, and my inheritance in Christ. The bulk of the study comes from the book of Ephesians and I highly suggest it.

Philippians 4:6

I struggle with worry and this verse is my go to during times of difficulty. I love The Living Bible's translation of this verse. Nothing takes our mind off of worry like turning our hearts and minds to thanksgiving.

Jeremiah 31:3

The church I attended in college used to sing this verse often during communion. " I have loved you with an everlasting love, I have called you and you are mine"  This verse reminds me that I am loved with an everlasting love. A love that doesn't waver based on emotion or on anything else. It is constant and unchanging. Everlasting.
